Our company history began in February 1988, when we started producing wall clock cases for Swarzwald clock factories in a small ceramic workshop. During this period, we learned to manufacture products meeting strict technical specifications and aesthetic requirements. The then sole-proprietorship (run by the current Managing Director) became a family business in 1990 with the founding of Thermokerámia Kft. Since then, we have maintained family ownership, with several family members — including the now-grown children — working in the company as engineers and technicians.
In the early 1990s, in response to the demand for highly precise, high-refractoriness products, we introduced low-pressure injection moulding (LPIM) as a new forming technology. Continuous learning and technological development enabled us, within a few years, to manufacture highly complex-shaped, dimensionally precise products for numerous industrial sectors. Around this time, our company motto was born: “Ceramic parts and elements — as you wish” — which today reads:
“Ceramic parts and components — designed and made to your specifications”
This motto continues to define our company operations: the manufacture of products tailored to customer requirements, and joint development processes with our customers.
From the very beginning, our company has grown continuously in both size and workforce. Today we operate in halls exceeding 3,000 m² with a team of 30 employees. Technology and materials development remains ongoing. The centuries-old ceramic manufacturing traditions of our town, combined with our industry experience and expertise, have also enabled us to adopt additional forming technologies. We now offer conventional casting, high-pressure casting, extrusion, and plastic pressing, allowing us to provide the most appropriate solution for any customer requirement.
Our vision is to operate an environmentally conscious business that treats its customers as partners, and whose mission is to solve the technical challenges that arise — together with our partners, through a collaborative development process.

Thermokerámia Kft. primarily manufactures bespoke products. We produce items with the shape, dimensions, and properties best suited to each customer's requirements.
Please contact us. If possible, send a drawing, sketch, or model, or describe the product or component to be manufactured along with its application conditions. Our design engineers will prepare technical drawings and models, and after finalising the details (shape, dimensions, and tolerances), we will provide a fixed price depending on the order quantity. We will propose from our own innovative materials the one most suited to your specific application. You are also free to select from our material data table, which contains all key information.
It is to our mutual advantage to receive the most accurate description of operating conditions (temperature profile, atmosphere, mechanical load, industry sector) whenever possible, so that we can develop the most suitable product and manufacture it in the most cost-effective manner.
Our philosophy is that products designed for you or in collaboration with you are manufactured exclusively for you and your company, and are not disclosed to any third party.
We also have our own standard product range from which you are welcome to select.
Industries with which we are directly or indirectly involved. We have been building and applying our professional expertise for nearly 37 years.

Over the past 35 years, Thermokerámia Kft. has mastered and developed numerous forming processes to bring out the finest properties in each product. Our primary goal is the comprehensive service of our customers and the highest product quality, with cost and energy efficiency always in mind.
The following technologies are employed in our facility:
-Low-pressure injection moulding -Manual and low-pressure casting -High-pressure casting -Dry pressing -Plastic pressing -Extrusion
Based on the raw materials and technology selected for each product, we apply different firing profiles, temperature curves, and industrial kilns and sintering equipment. We take pride in our machinery and in our ability to manufacture products using modern, state-of-the-art kilns to meet ever-higher quality expectations. Our company has always prioritised innovation in this field. Equally important is keeping environmental and energy impact to a minimum.
Where required, following pre-firing and deparaffinisation procedures, we most commonly sinter our products to completion at 1,550°C alongside our cordierite firing profiles. Our maximum firing temperature is 1,700°C.
